Training is vital to the success of any organisation, and most medium and large sized companies will have a training department. As safety plays such a critical part in the industry, trainers have a key role in ensuring that personnel are competent and safe, and are up to speed with company and industry procedures.
You’ll have a varied role which could include:
Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent).
HNC/HND/BTEC or Degree (or equivalent) in related topic, plus strong IT and communication skills.
£30,000 - £35,000, then £40,000 - £55,000 as your career progresses
You could choose to specialise in specific types of technical or non-technical training, become a training supervisor or a training and competency manager.
