Training is vital to the success of any organisation, and most medium and large sized companies will have a training department. As safety plays such a critical part in the industry, training co-ordinators have a key role in ensuring that personnel are competent and safe, and are up to speed with company and industry procedures.
You’ll carry out a variety of tasks, which might include:
Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
HNC/HND/ BTEC in business or administration related topic, or equivalent). Youll also need good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
£18,000 - £25,000, rising to £25,000 - £30,000 as you gain experience.
You might go on to specialise in specific types of training, or become a training manager or supervisor. You may also have the opportunity to move to the delivery side and become a trainer, or enter a related area such as human resources.
